E License Registration

Capital Soccer Association is committed to providing our coaches all the resources they need to deliver the best instruction possible to our participants. With that in mind, we are offering a Free E License course for our Head coaches. The course deals with 11-a-side soccer for coaches of players that are 13 years old and up. This course is 18 hours and spans Friday evening thru Sunday afternoon.

Saturday
9:00am - 10:30am Field-How/when to dribble
10:30am - 11:45am Field- How/when to pass and receive
1:00pm - 2:15pm Lecture-Principles of Play I
2:15pm - 3:15pm Field- Playing balls in the air/heading balls
3:15pm - 4:15pm Field- Goalkeeping
4:15pm - 5:30pm Field- How/when to shoot/finish with accuracy

Sunday
9:00am - 10:30am Field-Principles of Attack & Defense in small groups
10:30am - 11:30am Field-Practice Coaching
1:00pm - 5:00pm Field-Practice Coaching

Class size is limited to 10 and CSA expects that you coach for 2 future seasons.

The course consists of classroom and practical instruction. Each candidate is asked to bring a pen or pencil to write with and a notepad. Candidates should also bring water, appropriate shoes, a #5 soccer ball and shin guards for the practical sections.

Attendance Policy
In order to earn a license, a coach must attend the entire course and pass the exams. In the event a coach misses part of a course, it is the responsibility of that coach to attend the missed segment at another course in order to attain a license.
